NOTE: This post is outdated. Facebook is no longer supporting new FBML apps. FaceItPages has fully moved to Facebook iframes applications. Please read more about our iframes apps here.
You already know how to create your Facebook Fan Page design using FaceItPages, so now let’s add your new design to Facebook using the Static FBML application. Follow the illustrated guide below, or download the PDF.
- Go to your Facebook Page and click the “Edit Page” link right under your main avatar.

- Scroll down to until you are able to click “Browse More” applications.

- Type “Static FBML” (without quotes) into the search box and select the application.

- Click the “Add to my Page” link directly below the main avatar. Then select the page you’d like to add it to. Static FBML is now added to your page! Now let’s add your FaceIt Page.

- Go back to your Page and click “Edit Page”.

- Now when you scroll down, you’ll see that the Static FBML application is there. Click “Edit”.

- Rename the title to whatever you’d like your page to be named, then paste in the code from your FaceItPages design.

- To set your FaceIt Page as a Tab (making it a full landing page), go to “Application Settings” in the FBML app. Click “remove” next to Box and “add” next to Tab.

- Enjoy your new FaceIt Page design!

- Expert Tip! If you’d like your new FaceIt Page design to be the first thing visitors see when they land on your page (instead of your Wall), be sure to change the Default Landing Tab to your new Page (in Wall Settings).

That’s all it takes to add your hot new FaceItPages design to your Facebook Fan Page! In case you missed it, be sure to check out our tutorial on how to create a designer Fan Page landing tab using FaceItPages.

Hello.
I completed Step 10 of the instructions yet my page is still initially lands on my wall rather than on the Welcome! (FaceITpage) that I’ve selected. Is there another way of forcing the landing page to change?
Thanks.
Bob
Hi Bob,
Your wall will always show as the default tab if you are logged in, as well as to people who already “like” or are fans of your Page. Your FaceItPages design will show up as the default landing tab to everyone who has not yet “liked” your page. You can test this by logging out of your account and going to the url of your Fan Page. You should land on your “Welcome!” FaceItPages design tab. Let me know how this goes!

We think that this is a very useful and economical way to help small business, such as our Guest House, to create useful marketing avenues. What we like best is that faceit pages allows changes and updates at no cost. Some opportunists are charging much more and then again for every change. Great job guys!
